Chad Pehrson We are excited to announce Chad Pehrson as the supervisor over our State Use contract at the Brigham City Regional building. Chad brings many skills and talents to PARC and  has demonstrated that he is very dedicated to our mission. Chad graduated from Stevens-Henager College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. His diverse work experience includes: Lead Associate at the Deseret Industries, Floor Manager at Shoe Carnival, and Business Development Director at Privacy Link. Chad is a longtime resident of the city of Logan where he currently resides with his wife Heather and 4 children ages 6 through 12. In Chad’s spare time, along with spending time with his family, he enjoys rocketry (the design, construction, launching and operation of rockets), reading, music, hiking and other outdoor activities. Chad has already proven to be a great asset to PARC, the Brigham City Regional contract, and the employees that he supervises. Welcome aboard Chad!

  • NEW FISCAL YEAR
The new government fiscal year 13 brought some great news to PARC.  We were able to negotiate a new 5 year contract with Hill Air Force Base for janitorial services that resulted in 20 new direct labor positions and one supervisory position.  This was a welcomed event considering over the past 4 years we have reduced our workforce in half.  The Air Force increased their frequency of cleaning in many buildings and added back on some floor work.  We are in the middle of hiring new personnel, giving preferences to people with documented disabilities.

On the flip side, the Army reduced their services this year at Tooele Army Depot resulting in the reduction of the workforce by three.  PARC was able to offer these three individuals positions at Hill Air Force Base because of the increase of work at this site.  The three individuals happily accepted and are now gainfully employed without any disruption to their benefits.

  • PARC is also looking at some new M&D projects with the Marine Corps after the first of the year which I will report on once we get the signed contracts.  We are anticipating some more climbing kits for the Army in early winter of 2013.

We are looking at moving our Runway Ruby’s operation from the present site at Hill Air Force Base to the west side of the base into a much larger building.  Renovation is still going on and we hope to open soon.  Keep looking at the web site for updates.
